A BIG GUN IN THE PHILIPPINES (Filipino Cannon and New Years Traditions)

Explosions, Fire and a Filipino Cannon! New Years in the Philippines is full of traditions! This time it wasn't the traditional bamboo cannon that we stumbled upon but a more "modern version".

Finn Snow (Check his Youtube), JunJun and I were in Oroquieta City on New Years Eve when we saw a group of people shooting a metal looking cannon. WOW!!! It was LOUD and POWERFUL! I have built a bamboo cannon before but had never seen this!

Needless to say... WE HAD TO GIVE IT A TRY!

This is a raw video of our simple New Years in the Philippines. I even taught Finn some traditions and superstitions :)
